Wendy Y. Tucker-Beck, MS, BSN, RN, RAC-CT, CHPN, is a nurse with more than 25 years of combined experience in nursing, publishing, and information technology.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Wendy worked in a variety of technical and publishing roles to include accounting and hospitality software support specialist, field hardware technician, travel-guide book editor, and technical editor for a classified government project.

Since becoming a nurse, Wendy has often been the go-to “techie” for EHR/EMR and other software-related questions amongst her peers. She has worked remotely as a hospice triage nurse since 2021, serving patients from hospices across the country. As such, she has become a power user of a variety of post-acute care and hospice software systems including Careficient, Epic, HomeCare HomeBase, HospiceMD, MatrixCare, MyUnity, Netsmart, and WellSky. She is also an RN MDS coordinator/nurse supervisor at a small nursing home in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Wendy has been a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and a Master of Science in Therapeutic Herbalism from Maryland University of Integrative Health.
